- Financial governance for multiple European subsidiaries and operational sites
- Overall responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors and internal departments
- Support of group accounting and consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and harmonization of financial statements
- Responsibility for the timely preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns and declarations for multiple European entities
- Handling of VAT‑related matters, including cross‑border transactions and special topics such as withholding tax on construction services
- Close collaboration with and professional coordination of external tax advisors to ensure compliant and efficient tax processes
- Continuous development and optimization of financial processes and active involvement in cross‑functional finance projects
- Design and implementation of internal control systems (ICS)
- Creation and ongoing enhancement of finance policies, accounting manuals, and process guidelines

- Completed degree in Accounting, Tax, Controlling, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally in an international environment
- Very good MS Office skills
- Strong advantage: IFRS knowledge and familiarity with German accounting standards (HGB)
- Solid expertise in corporate income tax and VAT
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken; (very) good German skills are considered an advantage
- Strong hands‑on mentality, independence, willingness to take responsibility, and team spirit
- Willingness to undertake occasional business travel
