Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission
As a Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in safeguarding our organization’s integrity. You will ensure that all internal operations, business practices, and documentation comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Develop, implement, and manage the company’s overall compliance framework.
  • Draft, review, and update company policies and procedures in line with applicable laws and industry standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and proactively assess processes, practices, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks or weaknesses.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely updates to company policies.
  • Analyze internal business systems to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure company-wide adherence to internal standards and business goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all compliance-related matters, internally and externally.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure business operations comply with internal policies.
  • Handle queries and concerns related to legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors and consultants.
  • Maintain detailed records of compliance activities.
  • Prepare and submit compliance and regulatory reports.
  • Design and implement internal control systems to manage violations or misconduct.
  • Identify, investigate, and report on compliance incidents, irregularities, and breaches.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of legal compliance programs and enterprise risk management strategies.

Your profile
  • Successfully completed higher education or training in business administration, law, or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable compliance role, ideally within a private equity or hedge fund-owned company.
  • Strong hands-on mentality with a high degree of integrity, discretion, and accuracy.
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and spoken command of English. German and Spanish would be a benefit.
